Comparing Tempeh and Tofu: A Nutrition Professional's Guide to Healthier Eating

Tempeh and Tofu are both processed soy products. Because Tempeh is usually made with seeds, nuts, legumes, and whole grains, they are richer in protein, fibre, and calories.

However, Tofu is rich in iron, potassium and has twice the amount of calcium compared to Tempeh. If you want to eat a processed soy product with lower calories then Tofu would be the best option for you. If you want a soy product with a lot more protein, fibre, and higher calories than Tempeh should be included in your diet.
